Most emergency food will let you down.
Here's why the shelf you prepared three years ago may already be useless.
Short shelf life
Most canned goods and standard emergency bars expire in 2–5 years. By the time you need them, they're gone.
Bulk and impractical
Large tubs and heavy cans are hard to move when you need to relocate fast. Portability isn't optional in a real emergency.
Allergenic ingredients
Dairy, gluten, nuts — most emergency foods exclude people with common dietary restrictions at the worst possible time.
Unreliable nutrition
Empty calories don't sustain you in a crisis. Most emergency food is high in sugar and low in protein — exactly backwards.
Simple. Reliable. Built to last.
Reserve Food Bars are designed for the reality of long-term storage — not short-term snacking. One bar. Compact. No expiry worries for a decade or more. Eat it straight or mix it into a warm porridge. Either way, it works.
- No rotation schedule needed — store once, rely on it for years
- No refrigeration, no cooking equipment required
- Plant-based and free from the top 14 allergens
- Compact enough to carry, dense enough to matter
Every detail is intentional.

How long does Reserve Food Bar actually last?
Reserve Food Bars are engineered for a 10+ year shelf life when stored at room temperature. Unlike most emergency foods, you don't need rotation schedules or special storage conditions — standard indoor temperatures are sufficient.
What does it taste like?
The bar has a mild, neutral flavour profile — intentionally designed to avoid palate fatigue. It's not a sweet snack bar. It's formulated to be edible and satisfying across multiple meals per day without becoming unpleasant.
How do I eat it?
Two ways. Eat it directly from the wrapper — no preparation needed. Or break it into a bowl and add warm water to create a hot porridge. Both methods are nutritionally equivalent. No cooking equipment, fire, or utilities required.
Who is this for?
Reserve Food Bars are for anyone who takes preparedness seriously. That includes households building emergency food reserves, families with dietary restrictions, remote workers and travellers, emergency responders, governments and civil agencies, NGOs and humanitarian organisations, and anyone who understands that food security isn't something to leave to chance.
Is it actually plant-based?
Yes. Reserve Food Bars are fully plant-based and formulated to be free from the top 14 common allergens — including dairy, gluten, nuts, soy, and eggs. This makes them viable for almost any dietary requirement, which matters in shared household or community emergency scenarios.
When will it be available?
We're launching on Kickstarter soon. Joining our waitlist gets you first access and early-bird pricing before the campaign goes public. Sign up above to secure your spot.
How many bars do I need?
Each bar is approximately 250 calories. Nine bars = roughly one day of food for one adult. For a household of four preparing a 3-day reserve, you'd need approximately 108 bars (four 9-bar packs per day × three days). We recommend starting with the 9-bar pack and scaling from there.
